On Sunday, IPYF sub-committee members met to review, deliberate and finalise the final programme for the event.

According to the programme outline, celebrations will go on for three consecutive days beginning with an opening prayer at the St Barnabas Cathedral at 8am followed by a debate programme where Isabel youths convene together at the Melanesia leaf house to debate on the topic of mining.

This will simultaneously coincide with activities at the National Art Gallery which will be graced by Isabel cultural dance performances, children’s items, slices of Isabel humour, live bands and contemporary dances.

Food stalls, cultural performance, live bands and other interesting activities will begin as long as the speeches are completed.

Performances will on till Saturday 3rd with popular local band Dodoili Band will be the stage band for the celebration whilst cultural performances will be performed by Isabel Youths that are working and studying in Honiara.

Founder and president of IPYF Mr Josiah Manehia said the celebration will be interesting and at the same time bond Isabel Youths who are the future leaders of Isabel Province.

“It is time we can share ideas, showcase our culture and tradition as well as leading the way to unite our youths.
